Like any great movement, the Church Multiplication Training Center grew out of a bold vision of seeing waves of fully prepared and intensely passionate planters starting new churches and raising up harvesters for every denomination committed to building the Kingdom of God.
The foundation and early
development for the Church Multiplication Training Center began in the
summer of 1991. Bill Malick, then director of church planting for the
Western District of the Missionary Church, consulted with Dr. Robert
Logan and Steve Ogne (Church Resource Ministries), George Barna (Barna
Research), Fred King (C&MA) and Robert Ransom (Missionary Church)
concerning the need for a training program for church planters.
generate, the New Church Strategy Training, along with the OnMission training for existing churches, has been redesigned to help church planting teams, and pastors and leadership teams live out the mission of Christ...to make and multiply disciples.
Today planters, pastors and lay leaders from a variety of models, conventional or organic, are learning to develop a strategy that is enabling them to fulfill the Great Commission for multiplying disciples.
